The instrument is used in thermogravimetric analysis to determinate the phase changes (melting point, glass transition, decomposition reactions, etc.).

Method of
work:

The instrument measures the amount of heat that occurs or is released during the transition process, based on heat flow difference between the sample and the reference after their temperature increases linearly as a function of time. The reference sample must have defined heat capacity.
