Textile Science Research Centre (TSRC) was established in 2008 at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology. On the occasion of TSRC Open day 2015 will be presented textile research and artistic potentials with the aim to popularize textile science within the theme Advanced materials and advanced technologies. Program and brief lecture summaries are an integral part of this new, and we hope that it will stimulate you on the arrival to the Technical Museum, September 23, 2015 at 9 am.

Textile-Science Research Centre (TSRC) announces the following:
for the award for the most successful scientific or artistic research work in the field of textiles). The competition is divided into two separate categories:
1st Category: for young scientists/artists (doctoral or postdoctoral students) of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology (age limit is 35)
2nd Category: for students of undergraduate/graduate studies of University of Zagreb,
One award in each category will be granted at Faculty Day in January 2016.
The application must be enclosed with CV, list of publications and name of the journal where the author wishes to submit the paper. Papers should be written in English, on six pages in the attached form TSRC_Template_2015.doc.
All papers will be published later in e-brochure of Textile Science Research Centre and additionally presented as poster at the Faculty Day 2016.

Scientists and students from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology (TTF team) have participated on the 3rd Scientific picnic which was held on Sunday, September 14th 2014 at the Zagreb Fair. Many visitors were intrigued by the exhibition and workshop entitled What hides jeans? presented by TTF team. During the evening hours TTF mannequins presented new Denim colection designed by Kruno Jendrijev, ex-TTF student.

Treće izdanje Znanstvenog piknika održat će se u nedjelju 14. rujna 2014. godine s početkom u 9.30 sati na Zagrebačkom velesajmu u paviljone 10 i 10a. Znanstvenici iz domovine i svijeta ponudit će atraktivne znanstvene predstave, interaktivne izložbe, radionice i puno prilika za zabavu i učenje. Na pikniku će sudjelovati grupa znanstvenika i studenata sa Sveučilišta u Zagrebu Tekstilno-tehnološkog fakulteta s interaktivnom radionicom pod nazivom „Što sve skriva džins?“. Osim radionice djelatnici i studenti TTF-a predvođeni kolegom Krunom Jendrijev organizirali su reviju pod nazivom „Džins generacije“ koja je mali dio Znanstvene revije.
